Soccer Recap: Powhatan Comes Up Short

After flying high against L.C. Bird on Tuesday, Powhatan came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the James River Midlothian Rapids on Thursday, falling 8-0. Powhatan have struggled against James River Midlothian recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Powhatan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for James River Midlothian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
