Baseball Recap: Warren Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Warren came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Port Arthur Memorial Titans by a score of 5-2 on Friday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Warren's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Parker Brocato, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that Brocato hit this season. Another was Cole West, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Warren now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
