Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster lost against Red Oak back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-12.

Leading Red Oak to victory were Destinee Alvarado and Maleah Ellis. Alvarado had ten digs and four assists, while Ellis had 19 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Alvarado has posted over her last nine contests. Moriah Roberson also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Lancaster now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Red Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Lancaster will take on Plano in a tournament on Friday. As for Red Oak, they will be taking part in a tournament against Panther Creek at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
