Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonell Central). They put the hurt on the Augusta Beavers with a sharp 14-4 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Macks, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

McDonell Central now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Augusta, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McDonell Central will face off against Flambeau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Augusta, they will challenge Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something the Beavers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
