Baseball Recap: Argos Dragons vs. North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays
Argos extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 28 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-11 in the process. They came up short against the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays, falling 18-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 on Thursday.
Conner Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Brady Montgomery also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
As for North Judson-San Pierre, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games.
