San Marcos not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Escondido Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19, 25-10.

When it comes to explaining why Escondido lost, don't look at Quinton Tam. Despite the final result, he had 27 digs and one assist. Tam is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last 14 games he's played.

San Marcos is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. As for Escondido, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.

As of now, neither San Marcos nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
