Volleyball Recap: King Philip Regional Comes Up Short

King Philip Regional lost against Milford back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Scarlet Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-16.

Jayson Lussier paced King Philip Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Lussier got some help from Hayden Patel and his 13 assists.

King Philip Regional has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Milford, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King Philip Regional will host Medfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Milford and Boston College High will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:15 p.m. on the 24th.
