Football Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Lincoln Christian Crusaders 43-12. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Wyatt Tanner threw for 114 yards on five of 17 attempts. Shane Hanley was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lincoln Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Auburn will face off against Ashland-Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
