Football Game Preview: Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees vs. Sherman Tide + How To Watch

Clay-Battelle has won four straight games at home, while Sherman has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Cee-Bees will host the Tide at 7:30 p.m. Clay-Battelle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Sherman likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Clay-Battelle got the win against River View by a conclusive 40-18. The Cee-Bees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherman). They were the clear victors by a 50-30 margin over Tolsia last Friday.

Sherman's win came from a few key players Clay-Battelle will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trey Lester, who picked up 197 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 64 yards and one score on only five carries. Those 197 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Eli Pauley was another key player, throwing for 359 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

Clay-Battelle's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Sherman, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-1.
