Landon Ward Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Landon Ward produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Willcox to the win on Friday. Ward made 11 total tackles and defended two passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.9). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
For the year, Ward has averaged 5.1 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 51.29 rushing yards per game.

Delon Harrison posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made four total tackles. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards.

Lopez Came Up Big in Bisbee's 47-20 Win
Bisbee picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Sebastian Lopez. Lopez turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 371 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also rushing for 47 yards.
Lopez must have Palo Verde's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Lopez last faced the Titans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 153 yards and six touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Ismael Cuevas Leads Willcox over Tanque Verde
On Friday, Willcox got the W thanks in part to Ismael Cuevas playing the best football he has all season. Cuevas made 19 total tackles.
On the season, Cuevas has averaged 9.7 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.14 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 3.71 receiving yards.

Another Bisbee player making an appearance on this list is Bryceton Meyer. He rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Palo Verde's probably not too fond of Meyer given he always seems to get the better of them. When Meyer last faced the Titans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 341 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 21.3 yards per carry.
