Football Recap: McKay Royal Scots vs. Westview Wildcats
On Friday, the McKay Royal Scots ended up a good deal behind the Westview Wildcats and lost 38-22. The Royal Scots were down 38-8 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Heath Thompson was nothing short of spectacular for Westview: he rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Thompson's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
McKay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westview, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKay will welcome Battle Ground at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westview, they will take on Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
