Basketball Recap: Marc'kalia Celestine's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Klein over Bridgeland

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Klein can now relate to. The matchup between them and the Bridgeland Bears didn't end well, with the Klein Bearkats falling 54-38.

Klein lost on Monday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Marc'Kalia Celestine, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. That was a full 44.7% of Klein's points, marking the third time in a row Celestine has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Williams, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points and three steals.

Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 27-9. As for Bridgeland, their win bumped their record up to 22-14.

Klein does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bridgeland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-67 loss against The Woodlands on the 13th.
