Volleyball Recap: Nipmuc Regional Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Nipmuc Regional waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Norton Lancers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

While Nipmuc Regional won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 27-25.

Their offense was headlined by Logan DeMarzo and Myles Guikema, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Dolan Comforti and his 32 assists. Haden Houachanthara controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Nipmuc Regional pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Norton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Nipmuc Regional has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South on the 6th. As for Norton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Bellingham on the 7th.
