Volleyball Recap: Pine Tree Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Pine Tree had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cumberland Academy Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pine Tree was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-11.

Pine Tree's win bumped their record up to 27-13. As for Cumberland Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pine Tree will challenge rival Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cumberland Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Henderson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
