Basketball Game Preview: Indian Creek Timberwolves vs. Rosary Royals

The Indian Creek Timberwolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Rosary Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Indian Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-46 to Illinois Math & Science Academy. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Rosary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 54-28 to Winnebago. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 518th, while the Indians are ranked 175th).

Rosary's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Indian Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Indian Creek came up short against Rosary in their previous meeting back in November of 2019, falling 70-57. Can Indian Creek avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
