Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Warriors vs. Scott Skyhawks

The Riverside Warriors will challenge the Scott Skyhawks at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 10.

Riverside is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against St. Albans on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Riverside was outmatched by St. Albans and fell 76-34. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-23.

Riverside's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cianna Groom, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Laila Campbell, who posted 17 points.

Scott fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down Buffalo 63-46 on Saturday.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Scott, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
