Football Recap: Arp Skates Past Elkhart with Ease

Arp never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Elkhart Elks 53-0. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.

Arp's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zane Bourque led the charge by picking up eight receiving yards and one TD, while also throwing for 84 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Ty Langley, who rushed for 21 yards and one score.

Arp was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Arp's record is now 6-1. As for Elkhart, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Arp and Elkhart will both be playing Winona the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Elks will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st.
