Baseball Recap: Flowing Wells Takes a Loss

Flowing Wells lost against Maricopa back in March of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Caballeros lost 10-4 to the Rams. The Caballeros' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Tommy Padilla was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Flowing Wells' record now sits at 6-16-1. As for Maricopa, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-13 record.

Looking ahead, Flowing Wells will be playing at home against Pueblo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Caballeros are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Maricopa, they will venture away from home to challenge Vista Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
