Volleyball Recap: Community Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Community Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Pinnacle Classical Academy to victory were Gracie Mode and Lily Wellmon. Mode had nine assists and two aces, while Wellmon had five kills. Wellmon has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 18 times she's played.

Community Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Community Christian Academy will square off against rival The Master's Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Christian Family Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
