The Rejoice Christian Eagles will face off against the Miami Wardogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rejoice Christian will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Rejoice Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Aspire HomeSchool with a sharp 22-14 win on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight runs or more this season.
Callen Duncan was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Duncan was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Micah Walker, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with six RBI, one run, and one double. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Lawson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Rejoice Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive matchups.
Wagoner hit Miami with a seven-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wardogs lost 11-1 to the Bulldogs. The Wardogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Miami saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Lillard, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Rejoice Christian pushed their record up to 16-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
Rejoice Christian beat Miami 11-7 in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wardogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
