Kapaun Mt. Carmel came tearing into Saturday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the West Chargers by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Kapaun Mt. Carmel was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.

Mason Palace paced Kapaun Mt. Carmel's offense, picking up nine kills. Palace got some help from McCoy Phister and her 17 assists. Palace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 27-10. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 17-17-1.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Maize South on the 30th. West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
