Rehobeth is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Wicksburg is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Rebels will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Rehobeth was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Russell County on Monday. The Rebels put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 19-1 victory.
Alex Cobb made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Cobb was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Rehobeth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Russell County only posted an OBP of .308.
Meanwhile, while Wicksburg put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Slocomb. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Red Tops. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 21 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Rehobeth has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Wicksburg, their victory bumped their record up to 35-6.
Rehobeth couldn't quite finish off Wicksburg when the teams last played on Saturday and fell 5-3. Will the Rebels have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
