Basketball Recap: Mt. Abraham Comes Up Short

Mt. Abraham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Vergennes Commodores at home by a 52-33 margin. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mt. Abraham's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Vergennes, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Mt. Abraham will venture away from home to challenge Enosburg Falls at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mt. Abraham is facing Enosburg Falls at the right time seeing as Enosburg Falls is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Vergennes, they will welcome Milton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
