Basketball Recap: Waltonville Picks Up 23rd Straight Win at Home

Waltonville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Steeleville Warriors on Friday, sneaking past 54-51. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Waltonville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gage Peterson, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Peterson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 20 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryley Stewart, who posted 12 points and three steals.
