Los Alamos entered their tilt with Miyamura on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victor by a 43-22 margin over the Miyamura Patriots. The Hilltoppers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Los Alamos got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Herrera out in front who rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns. Gavin Mitchell also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Los Alamos wouldn't let Miyamura keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Los Alamos can thank Landen Arnett and Frank D. Sheppard for forcing both of them. D. Sheppard has been hot recently, having also posted nine or more total tackles the last four times he's played.

Miyamura's loss came despite strong showings from Sean Torres and Carlos Garcia. Torres rushed for 124 yards, while Garcia rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.

Los Alamos pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Miyamura, they moved to 6-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
