On Thursday Jakob Adkins pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Adkins has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one earned run. On the year, he has an ERA of 1.24 over 5.7 innings pitched.
