Warren County had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They walked away with a 57-50 victory over the Columbia Central Lions. Given the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Lions are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warren County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Canaan Parris, who posted ten points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave Parris a new career-high in steals (two). Devin Fish was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

Warren County pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points per game. As for Columbia Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren County will challenge DeKalb County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Warren County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season. As for Columbia Central, they and Spring Hill will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
