Basketball Game Preview: Christ the King Crusaders vs. Community School of Davidson Spartans

The Christ the King Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Community School of Davidson Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Christ the King took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They snuck past Bradford Prep with a 73-68 victory.

Meanwhile, Community School of Davidson posted their biggest win since November 26, 2024 on Thursday. Everything went their way against Bradford Prep as Community School of Davidson made off with a 60-38 victory.

Christ the King's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Community School of Davidson, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-8.

Christ the King beat Community School of Davidson 81-73 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christ the King since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
