Softball Recap: Pilot Point Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pilot Point won against Heritage on Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bearcats didn't even let the Lancaster Tigers on the board, marking the Bearcats' second-straight 6-0 shutout. Fans of the Bearcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The win was the third in a row for Pilot Point, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average this season. As for Lancaster, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
