Basketball Recap: Lake Mary Prep Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Lake Mary Prep Griffins came up short against the Seabreeze Sandcrabs and fell 51-40. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seabreeze's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roman Sword, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Casto, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Lake Mary Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Seabreeze, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Lake Mary Prep and Circle Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Seabreeze, they will square off against Geneva at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
