            Basketball Recap: Pasadena Eagles vs. Crosby Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Pasadena, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crosby Cougars on Friday, sneaking past  59-57. The  win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 702nd, while the Cougars are ranked 325th).
 Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   RYLAN ANDERSON, who  went 7 for 17  on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave  ANDERSON a new career-high in  points.  PHILLIP JACKSON was another key player,  putting up 11 points and seven  boards.
Pasadena now  has a winning record of 14-13. As for Crosby,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 17-13.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing West Fork the next time they take the court. Pasadena will head out to face West Fork at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Crosby will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on January 31st.
