Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Aubree Fernandez and Stella Sanford Lead Wakeland to Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wakeland had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Memorial Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Wakeland to victory were Stella Sanford and Aubree Fernandez. Sanford had 14 assists and three digs, while Fernandez had 20 digs and eight assists. That's the most assists Fernandez has posted since October 3rd.

Wakeland's victory bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-14.
