Football Preview: Camden Panthers vs. Kingsway Dragons

The Camden Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Kingsway Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Panthers fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They blew past St. Christopher's 39-17 on Friday.

Mahki Brunson had an outrageously good game as he threw for 239 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 72 yards on only eight carries. Malik Redd also helped with three touchdowns in total.

Camden's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Talib Shakir and Jeremiah Steeley. Shakir also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Meanwhile, Kingsway gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They strolled past Eastern with points to spare, taking the game 23-6.
