Volleyball Game Preview: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Flagler Panthers

The Cheyenne Wells Tigers will square off against the Flagler Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cheyenne Wells managed to slip by Granada the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Bobcats on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

While Cheyenne Wells was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Flagler had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Wiley on Friday. Flagler not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Flagler walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-20.

Flagler's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Cheyenne Wells, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
