Baseball Recap: Middleburg Find Success

Middleburg owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They skirted past the Eagle's View Warriors 1-0.

Middleburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Conte, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Conte a new career-high.

The victory got Middleburg back to even at 8-8. As for Eagle's View, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middleburg will take on Oakleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eagle's View, they will face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
