Baseball Recap: La Farge Sets Scoring Season-High Against North Crawford

La Farge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Crawford Trojans, falling 15-5. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Wildcats' highest-scoring matchup to date.

La Farge's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Crawford, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, La Farge will face off against Wauzeka-Steuben at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for North Crawford, they will be playing at home against Weston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Silver Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
