Owen Lewis and Matt Grazia provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Cardinal. The connection went for 56 yards, the longest such play in Chagrin Valley - Valley this season.

Kirtland's Jacob Boyd rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Huskies last week. Boyd scampered for 71 yards on the play and finished with 84 on the day as his team bested Cardinal.

Kirtland's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sam Skiljan threw for 166 and 3 touchdowns and Ryan Loncar had 90 yards receiving. On the ground Adam Hess contributed 89 yards. Grazia helped Kirtland's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 56 yards.

He went 13-16 with 0 interceptions.

Skiljan put up the best numbers through the air as Tiger (Phillip) Laverde's team beat Eric Cardinal's team. Skiljan's favorite target this week was Loncar, who caught 6 passes for 90 yards.

Kirtland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Skiljan has thrown for 667 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Loncar has 13 catches for 295 yards.

The Huskies are currently in second, while Newbury is in fourth.

The Hornets extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Cardinal, 63-20. The victory was the sixth in a row for Kirtland.
