Versailles was the 7-6 winner over Memorial when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 5-1 to the Roughriders on Saturday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Versailles saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ross Francis, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Sam Deland was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Versailles and Memorial will both be playing Celina the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Roughriders will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
