             Syracuse was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have lost by  exactly three  runs.
  Mayson Sprague made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. What's more,  she also racked up three  hits, the mostshe's  had since back in August.
 Even though they lost, Syracuse was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  batting average total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-15.
 Syracuse will head out to  square off against Auburn  on Thursday. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they will host Pierce  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
