Basketball Game Preview: El Camino Eagles vs. Sutter Huskies

El Camino is on a three-game streak of home losses, Sutter a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The El Camino Eagles will host the Sutter Huskies at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, El Camino came up short against Natomas and fell 47-36. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1034th, while the Nighthawks are ranked 166th).

Meanwhile, Sutter lost to Casa Roble on the road by a 75-56 margin on Tuesday.

Sutter's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Things could have been worse for El Camino, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 73-54 loss to Sutter in their previous matchup on January 7th.
