Softball Recap: Beresford Watchdogs vs. Lennox Orioles
Beresford's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Lennox Orioles out 12-10. The high-scoring effort was just what Beresford needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

On Lennox's side, Ahleeya Nicolac made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Seelen, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Even though they lost, Lennox didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 11 strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beresford only tossed four.
Beresford has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Lennox, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Beresford is on the road again on Friday to play Vermillion at 4:00 p.m. Vermillion is coming into the contest with four straight losses at home, meaning Beresford will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Lennox will take on Tri-Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
