Mountain View is 0-8 against Uintah since April of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bruins will square off against the Utes at 3:30 p.m. One thing working in Mountain View's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
On Friday, Mountain View got the win against Pine View by a conclusive 17-6. Considering the Bruins have won 11 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Camille Stoddard spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Hunter Adams was a standout: she fired off two home runs, three stolen bases, and three runs while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allison Young, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Mountain View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 26 hits. They are 9-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Uintah waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Timberwolves. That's two games straight that the Utes have won by exactly two runs.
Lynlie Hall made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Hall was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ellie Lewis was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Leena Sharp was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Mountain View's record is now 11-6. As for Uintah, their record now sits at 12-2-1.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mountain View hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .446. However, it's not like Uintah struggles in that department as they've averaged .398. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mountain View suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Uintah when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
