Basketball Recap: Macee Norman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Montgomery over Lebanon

North Montgomery lost against Lebanon back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lebanon Tigers.

Several Chargin' Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Macee Norman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Norman a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Ramey, who posted 11 points.

Claire Boling was a one-woman wrecking crew for Lebanon as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Ali Bir, who had nine points.

North Montgomery has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Lebanon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

North Montgomery has already played their next matchup (against Western Boone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lebanon will take on Zionsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
