Flag Football Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short Despite Jordyn Contreras' Big Defensive Game

St. Paul and Buena Park squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but St. Paul had to settle for second. They fell 25-12 to the Coyotes. The Swordsmen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Coyotes earlier this season, when they won 26-20.

St. Paul didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jordyn Contreras, Raquel Avina, Tiffany Victorian, and Kiara Montgomery picked up one apiece.

St. Paul's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11. As for Buena Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buena Park, they will challenge Garden Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
