Jernie Nerio made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
