Baseball Recap: Worcester Tech Takes a Loss

Worcester Tech managed to slip by Bartlett the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 17-9 to the Indians on Wednesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Zachary Braconnier was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jace Benetiz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Worcester Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bartlett, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

The future could be bright for both Worcester Tech and Bartlett: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Eagles will try to hand Assabet Valley RVT their sixth-straight loss when the two meet at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bartlett will look to extend Quaboag Regional's six-game losing streak when they meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
