Baseball Recap: Lunenburg Comes Up Short

Sunday just wasn't the day for Lunenburg's offense. They came up short against the North Middlesex Regional Patriots on Sunday, falling 14-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Knights have suffered since April 28th.

Lunenburg's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for North Middlesex Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Lunenburg will square off against Worcester Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Knights are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. North Middlesex Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
