Recap: Dulaney Lions vs. Eastern Tech Mavericks
Make it five blowout wins for the Dulaney Lions this season. Everything went their way against Eastern Tech on Wednesday as Dulaney made off with a 73-52 victory. Winning may never get old, but Dulaney sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Eastern Tech lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Adrian Pefianco, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian James Jr, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Dulaney's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Eastern Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Dulaney will head out on the road to square off against Patapsco at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Patapsco will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Dulaney is ranked 99th). As for Eastern Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Perry Hall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
