Volleyball Recap: Westview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Westview lost against Deer Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Skyhawks. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Westview had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Ayla-Grace Morris paced Westview's offense, picking up 11 kills. Morris got some help from Taylor Betenson and her 19 assists. Betenson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Deer Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-19.

Westview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Copper Canyon on the 20th. As for Deer Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Estrella Foothills on the 20th.
