Byron Carreon Game Report: @ Idalou + How To Watch

For the first time in his career, Byron Carreon scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 79 yards and one score on only six carries, but sadly Shallowater still had to take a 45-20 loss at the hands of Idalou. We marked that as the best effort he's had all season, even better than his performance on August 29th (when he rushed for three yards) (Gamescore: 19.4 vs. 0.2).

Looking ahead, Carreon and Shallowater will host Canadian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 227 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
